Version
When talking about the Bible, the term 'version' refers to the particular translation of the Bible in question.
Examples:
- King James' Version (KJV) = Authorised Version (AV) = The version of 1611
- Revised Version (RV) (of 1881)
- Revised Standard Version (RSV)
- New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
- New International Version (NIV)
- New King James' Version (NKJV)
Other versions of the Bible include:
- New Enlish Bible (NEB)
- Revised Enlish Bible (REB)
- Jerusalem Bible (JB)
- New Jerusalem Bible (NJB)
- Good News Bible (GNB) = Today's English Version (TEV)
- Living Bible (LB)
